A great time was had by all at the Christmas Tree Festival held Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th December 2018 in the Town Hall.

10th & 11th November 2018

All of the events and acts of remembrance during the Centenary weekend in Hunstanton were well attended.

On the Sunday between around 1500 people gathered at the Cenotaph War memorial in the Esplanade gardens for the Act of remembrance and the two minutes silence.

Annual Blessing of the Town 9th September 2018 at 4 pm

The Annual Blessing of the Town took place on Sunday 9th September 2018 at 4 pm by the Cross on the Green (outside the Tourist Information Centre).

A short service was conducted by Father John Bloomfield Vicar from St Edmunds Church, Hunstanton.

Mayor attends presentation of new state-of-the-art beach wheelchair

On 16 August, the Mayor was delighted to attend the presentation of a state-of-the-art beach wheelchair to West Norfolk Mencap. The new wheelchair was donated by Scope (a charity that works with people with cerebral palsy) and will be available for groups who make use of the Mencap beach hut at Old Hunstanton, enabling users to get on to the beach and even into the sea.

Oyez, Oyez, Oyez!

Hunstanton Town Council has appointed the first ever Town Crier.

The Mayor Cllr Amanda Bosworth is very pleased to announce that Mr Brian Heighton has been chosen to become the first ever Town Crier for Hunstanton.

Brian lived in Leicester before moving to Hunstanton a little over a year ago and will be participating in Mayoral & HTC functions as well as local community events.
