Hunstanton Remembers the 1953 Floods
A Memorial Service was today held at the Cenotaph, Esplanade Gardens in memory of those who lost their lives in the 1953 Floods.
Hunstanton survivor Mr Neil Quincy was warmly welcomed, as were representatives from the US Air Force 67th Air Rescue Squadron.
On the night of 31 January 1953, a wall of water surged from the North Sea, devastating the east coast of England.

Hunstanton Neighbourhood Plan Consultation - Closing Date for Response Friday 18th January 2019
In accordance with Regulation 14 of the Neighbourhood Planning Regulations 2012, Hunstanton's Draft Neighbourhood Plan is out for consultation and publicity.
The Plan can be found on the attachment below and hard copies can be inspected at the Tourist Information Centre, the Hunstanton Library or be obtained from the Town Clerk.
