New bin collection dates start next week
New collection days for residents' household waste and recycling in Kings Lynn and West Norfolk start next week.
Serco, who manage household waste and recycling collections in Kings Lynn and West Norfolk, is making these changes to reduce the distances bin trucks are travelling and accommodate new homes in the area.

Temporary Traffic Order - Glebe Road
NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL has made a Temporary Traffic Order affecting Glebe Avenue from its junction with the A149 Cromer Road for 30m westwards in the TOWN OF HUNSTANTON because of pole replacement works.
The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) on the 11th March 2022 for the duration of the works expected to be about 1 day within the period.

The Mayor of Hunstanton will be holding a Floods Memorial Service on Sunday 30th January 2022 at the Cenotaph, Esplanade Gardens, Hunstanton.
Anyone wishing to participate in the walk to the Cenotaph are welcome to join the Mayor at 11.15 am at the Town Hall.

IN MEMORY OF EX MAYOR OF HUNSTANTON MR FRED POOLEY
Members and staff of Hunstanton Town Council are saddened to hear of the recent death of Mr Fred Pooley and would like to send their condolences to his family.
Fred Pooley was a larger-than-life person, born and raised in Hunstanton until 1951 when, at the age of 5, moved near to Wisbech with his mother Hilda.
