New Mayor of Hunstanton

Cllr Cynthia Easeman Elected New Mayor and Chair of Hunstanton Town Council

At the Extra Ordinary Full Council Meeting on 9th July 2025, Hunstanton Town Council elected Cllr Cynthia Easeman as the new Mayor and Chair.

Cllr Easeman has been a member of the town council for seven years and currently chairs the Highways & Byways Committee. She is also involved with the Helping Hands and Friday Friendship Group, and is a familiar face at the local church. Despite being visually impaired, Cynthia doesn't let anything hold her back — she's always out and about with her trusty guide dog, GEM, by her side.

As Mayor and Chair, Cynthia is excited to work closely with the community to make Hunstanton an even better place to live, work, and visit.
