Falklands Flag Being Flown

In 1982 members of the British Armed Forces sailed 7,000 miles across the Atlantic to retake the Falkland Islands after they had been invaded by Argentina. Hundreds of servicemen from both sides died in the fighting and many more were injured. It is right, at this time, that we remember all those who suffered as a result of this conflict. Hunstanton Town Council is flying the Falklands War flag by the War Memorial as a sign of remembrance.
