1953 Floods Memorial Service 30th January 2022

The Mayor of Hunstanton will be holding a Floods Memorial Service on Sunday 30th January 2022 at the Cenotaph, Esplanade Gardens, Hunstanton.

Anyone wishing to participate in the walk to the Cenotaph are welcome to join the Mayor at 11.15 am at the Town Hall.

The service will be as follows:

Mayor leading the walk to the Flood memorial 11.30 am

Welcome and Address by the Mayor 11.45 am

Reading by the Mayor and Lt Col Williams, of the names who perished in the floods 11.55 am

Laying of wreaths

Minutes Silence 12 noon

Unveiling of the Freeman Kilpatrick sign by Sean Kelly and Tsgt Vincent Telmanik

Buffet in Town Hall 12.30 pm
