Serving the people of Hunstanton

Kit Kat Site

Hunstanton Town Council are aware of the arrival on Wednesday 9th June of fairground equipment on the Kit Kat site in Seagate Road.

Cllr. Paul Kidd has spoken to the BCKLWN Planning Enforcement Officer responsible for action against unauthorised activities.

There is nothing they can do at this stage as it is permitted under emergency Government Covid legislation relaxing the normal rules and allowing 56 days occupancy which starts from 9th June.

However, rules on noise, pollution, disturbance and overlooking etc. still apply and may give them a route for enforcement.

The situation will be monitored and action taken where possible.
