Praise for the Town from a Happy Visitor
"We have just returned from a week in Holme next the sea 31 May - 7 June and I had just to write to you. This is the fourth time we have visited Hunstanton and every year we fail to be disappointed. (I did write the first time we visited). I must congratulate you on the cleanliness of everything - public conveniences, open spaces. The beautiful gardens that were being planted up whilst we were there. Everywhere is so very tidy and the people I spoke to that were cleaning the toilets and working on the gardens seem to have a real pride in what they do. I did tell a couple of your groundsmen and toilet cleaners how amazing I thought it was. Considering the number of fish and chip shops and people sitting on the green we never saw any litter. The toilets are actually cleaner than the toilets in our main shopping centre. It didn't matter what time of the day you visited Hunstanton everything was exactly the same. I'm sure the gardener must mow the gardens every day (it certainly seemed like it).We also happened to be sitting in the garden when the D Day celebrations took place and how amazing that was for a small town to be carrying out a memorial.Thank you very much indeed to everyone who makes Hunstanton such a wonderful place to visit. It is an absolute pleasure to visit and we will be returning. More places need to take a few tips out of your books to improve their towns. With all good wishes"
