Since becoming a Councillor for Hunstanton Town Council in January 2025, I have had the privilege of being involved in some of the town's events, including the four day VE Day celebrations and the vibrant Carnival weekend. Both were wonderful reminders of the spirit, history and sense of community that make this town so special. I have also had the opportunity of joining several committees, such as Environment, General Purposes, Finance and Highways & Byways, as well as sitting on the Co-option Panel, which has enabled me to engage with the challenges and opportunities facing the town and to play an active role in improving Hunstanton for everyone who visits, lives, or works here.

I moved to Hunstanton with my husband and young family two and a half years ago, and from day one, we were welcomed into a friendly, supportive community. That sense of belonging is what inspired me to apply to join the council—to give something back and to help both residents and visitors make the most of everything Hunstanton has to offer. From our stunning seafront to our lively events and local businesses, there is so much here to be proud of. I feel incredibly fortunate to play a small part in shaping the future of this town, and I look forward to continuing to listen, support, and serve over the months and years to come.
