I was born and spent my school years in Peterborough and then college in Wisbech. I then went to London to do a degree in Product Design followed by a PGCE and spent the next 25 years or so in East London, working as a product designer, secondary teacher and eventually an Assistant Head Teacher.
5 years ago my partner, Linda and I decided to move out of London and, loving Hunstanton, decided to buy a house in the hope that a job would follow. It took a while but last year I was appointed as a Head of Department at a local secondary school and moved up here full time in September. Moving here has been a good decision.
I have always taken an interest in my local community issues and wish to continue to do so in Hunstanton. I am a member of the Civic Society and recently joined the Neighbourhood Plan Working Party.
