Hunstanton Christmas Cracker - a day of family fun from 10 am, with the main events happening on the Green around the Princess Theatre.
There will be Christmassy stalls inside the Town Hall and outside in the streets, fairground rides, games, music, carol singing and special events throughout the day, with the Christmas Lights Switch-On as the grand finale!

On Remembrance Sunday (Sunday 12th November 2017) the annual Remembrance ceremony at the Cenotaph took place.
The ceremony was slightly longer than usual as there was not a service at the church this year.
There was a fantastic public participation and Hunstanton Town Council were pleased to welcome all back to the Town Hall for tea/coffee and biscuits after the service.

On Saturday 11th November 2017 at 11 am a 2 minute silence was held in the High Street.
On November 11 every year, commemorates the signing of the armistice between the Allies and Germany at 11 am on 11 November 1918 - the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month.
Although hostilities continued in some areas, the armistice essentially brought an end to fours years of fighting in the First World War.. Read More »

After 13 years of dedicated service to Hunstanton Town Council the Clerk Lisa Powell has decided to relocate to her home county of Derbyshire.
It is with great sadness that I am saying goodbye to Hunstanton after nearly thirteen years as Town Clerk. I began my career here as a nervous Deputy Clerk but after three months was promoted to Town Clerk. I have seen several councillors come and go and have had great pleasure in working with them all.. At the Hunstanton Town Council Full Council Meeting on Friday 18th August 2017, members welcomed 4 excellent candidates to stand for the vacant position of Town Councillor.
The Mayor Cllr Adrian Winnington had the pleasure of announcing Mr Robert Corby was the successfull candidate and invited Cllr Corby to take his seat with immediate effect.

Hunstanton was awarded a Gold in the Coastal category and was declared overall winner in the Coastal category.
The Mayor Cllr Adrian Winnington said "this is recognition richly deserved by everyone who has helped the town look so beautiful this year and special thanks must go to Chris Durham and his team".
